This position performs a variety of activities including, but not limited to receiving, shipping, inventory control, order fulfillment, printing and organizing paperwork, all with minimal supervision.
Roles & Responsibilities
Verify counts and paperwork before receiving incoming material
Communicate any discrepancies with area supervisor
Maintains a clean work area and overall cleanliness (i.e.: neatly organized, clean, and free of trash/boxes)
Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic and driven environment
Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a professional manner to maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and management
Adheres to safe work practices and complies with all company polices
Performs other duties as assigned by the department manager
Qualifications & Requirements Required:
High school diploma
Minimum experience needed:
1-3 years of stockroom/shipping/receiving experience
Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter who works well under minimal supervision
Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities between manager in accordance with their priority
Basic computer skills
Must be able to work overtime when necessary
General Physical Requirements: Standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, grasping, holding, lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds independently (up to 60 pounds as team lift), reaching, pushing, pulling, all across various distances are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
